Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to purchases of MediaBoxMC Premium licenses made through the Microsoft Store or the MediaBoxMC website (mediaboxmc.com). Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Free Version

The free version of MediaBoxMC is provided at no cost. As no payment is made, no refund is applicable to the free version of the Software.

2. Microsoft Store Purchases

If you purchased a MediaBoxMC Premium license through the Microsoft Store (as an in-app purchase or standalone purchase), your purchase is subject to Microsoft's refund policy. Refund requests for Microsoft Store purchases must be submitted directly to Microsoft through their support channels. Revolt.Inc does not process refunds for purchases made through the Microsoft Store. For more information on Microsoft's refund policy, please visit the Microsoft Store support page.

3. Website Purchases

If you purchased a MediaBoxMC Premium license directly through the MediaBoxMC website, the following refund terms apply:

  • 14-day withdrawal right: In accordance with EU consumer protection laws (Directive 2011/83/EU), you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days from the date of purchase, provided that the license key has not been activated or redeemed. Once a license key has been activated, the right of withdrawal is forfeited as the digital content has been fully delivered with your prior express consent.
  • Defective product: If the Software is materially defective and fails to function as described, you may request a refund regardless of whether the license has been activated. We may first attempt to resolve the issue through technical support.

4. Refund Request Procedure

To request a refund for a website purchase, please follow these steps:

  • Send an email to [EMAIL_PLACEHOLDER] with the subject line "Refund Request".
  • Include the following information in your email: your order confirmation number or transaction ID, the email address used for the purchase, the date of purchase, and the reason for your refund request.
  • We will review your request and respond within 10 business days.
  • If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method within 14 business days of approval.

5. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not be granted in the following cases:

  • The license key has been activated and the 14-day withdrawal period has expired.
  • The refund request is made more than 14 days after the date of purchase (unless the product is defective).
  • The Software functions as described but does not meet your personal expectations or preferences.
  • Your device does not meet the minimum system requirements as published on the Website and in the EULA.

6. Subscription Cancellation

If MediaBoxMC Premium is offered as a subscription in the future, you may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you will retain access to Premium features until that date. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing period.
